簡(jiǎn)介：影片以18世紀(jì)羅馬尼亞的地下秘密組織“兄弟會(huì)”為線索，該組織密謀推翻貴族政府為目的。影片拍攝時(shí)期為羅馬尼亞共產(chǎn)黨執(zhí)政時(shí)期，對(duì)“兄弟會(huì)”進(jìn)行頌揚(yáng)。當(dāng)時(shí)的羅馬尼亞受到法國(guó)大革命的影響，民族主義運(yùn)動(dòng)興起。片中的“兄弟會(huì)”醞釀發(fā)動(dòng)革命推翻貴族統(tǒng)治，而黃玫瑰則幫助 “兄弟會(huì)”與貴族軍隊(duì)作戰(zhàn)。影片本來要拍成《007》那樣的系列電影，但是因?yàn)楹髞砹_馬尼亞政局變化，電影業(yè)私有化，最后只拍到了第八部。 影片風(fēng)格是美國(guó)西部片式的。男主角馬爾杰拉圖神出鬼沒，神勇無比，為“兄弟會(huì)”出生入死。他不停地嗑瓜子動(dòng)作，成為他的招牌。扮演馬爾杰拉圖的演員叫弗洛林·彼耶爾西克，據(jù)說，他在羅馬尼亞電影表演界的地位，與現(xiàn)在的羅馬尼亞電影創(chuàng)作協(xié)會(huì)主席塞爾裘·尼古萊斯庫相當(dāng)。片中的黃玫瑰很像個(gè)美國(guó)牛仔。比如，他的槍法很好，還會(huì)趴在地上聽馬蹄聲，而且片中還出現(xiàn)了西部片必然會(huì)有的場(chǎng)面：群馬追擊四輪馬車和酒館里的群架。唯一不同的是，這個(gè)牛仔不愛叼雪茄，卻喜歡嗑瓜子。他嗑瓜子的鏡頭深深印在了中國(guó)人的腦海里，即使他們?cè)缫淹浟擞捌膭∏椋膊粫?huì)忘記這個(gè)動(dòng)作。 女主角阿卡塔是著名的演員，性感、風(fēng)流、直率、剛勇、不擇手段，為了蓋劇院籌集資金而為當(dāng)局效勞，成為“黃玫瑰”的勁敵。阿卡塔的扮演著MARGA BARBU是羅馬尼亞享有盛譽(yù)的著名演員，是該片編劇的妻子。她于2009.2.28死于心臟病。
