簡介：故事講述43歲的拖車司機大叔，一直都在母親建立的汽車修理公司做司機，他本人一直生活在母親的羽翼之下。一天，拖車大叔護送一位年輕的女士回家并在這位客人家過夜，第二天一早，年輕女士不聲不響地離開，把房間里的小嬰兒和一個六歲的小男孩留給大叔照顧。從來沒有照顧孩子經驗的大叔這下可慌了手腳，他好不容易把男孩送到學校，轉身又要給小嬰兒換尿布，母親催他工作的電話也一直響個不停。雖然自己的工作和生活被弄得一團糟，但在照顧孩子們并幫助孩子們找媽媽的過程中，大叔自己也在成長，他越來越有自信，變得非常有責任心。大叔答應孩子們找到媽媽，并和孩子們建立了深厚的友誼，他自己也從母親的束縛中掙脫出來，找到了自我。最終他發現了孩子們媽媽不幸的真相，并選擇繼續照顧孩子們，也與自己的母親和解，接手了母親的汽車修理公司。
