簡介：由密契爾·鮑威爾等三位導演聯合執導的一部歷久彌新的神話片。故事取材于阿拉伯神話，內容大致描述一個會妖術的奸相賈法，用陰謀詭計把巴格達城的阿麥王拘禁起來，然后自號為王。阿麥后來得到同牢的小神阿菩相助而逃走。賈法為了得到公主，把阿麥變成瞎子，并把阿菩變成一條狗。最后得巨人相助，終于射殺賈法，讓阿麥重新成為巴格達城的國王。導演手法相當統一流暢，而且對光影的運用別有一手。此外，本片有很多建筑宏偉的布景和模型，運用起來都很恰當，交互剪接之后也沒有什么明顯的破綻。

Beaumont's motives are purely selfish as he makes every attempt to convince the beautiful young girl to run away with him. For help Beaumont turns to the devious Legendre, a man who runs his mill by mind controlling people he has turned into zombies. After Beaumont uses Legendre's zombie potion on Madeleine, he is dissatisfied with her emotionless being and wants her to be changed back. Legendre has no intention of doing this and he drugs Beaumont as well to add to his zombie collection. Meanwhile, grieving 'widower' Neil is convinced by a local priest that Madeleine may still be alive and he seeks her out.
